What do acne, obesity, painful periods, diabetes, sinus problems and cancer all have in common? They can all be caused or exacerbated by the intake of sugar. Sugar lowers our immune system, making us more susceptible to all sorts of health conditions. It’s much like getting two hours of sleep every night and then asking your body to perform at its optimal level for 12 hours every day.
